We found some spit masks, unused. Our bus used to be a California State Prison Bus. The shotgun mount was a little different. |

I found about a bucks worth of coins, a pen or two, a mid school youngsters ID and some notes folded in on itself as was done when I was in Jr High. My bus was part of the transportation system and was used to transport school kids. -cd |

Found a couple of dollars worth of coins, a bunch of pencils and pens, three unused very old ground flares (the reflector type), including stands and and flags, neatly packed in the front storage compartment. Never been touched, I'll bet. Also bunches of spare parts including a half dozen new wheel lugs, a variety of filters and the original AM radio, 1964 vintage. This bus was a one owner Crown Highway Coach, 10 wheeler, Cummins 220 turbo with Fuller RR 10 speed. Ordered and owned by Northern Aruzona University, Flagstaff. About a million miles, and a million rattles, or maybe two.....LOL. Dubbed "Shake, Rattle and Roll" by the students. Couldn't have hit it more squarely on the head. Great idea for a thread ; thanx, Jim RCB |

Well, I can top that. Mine came with Japanese money, Japanese written notes, several Japanese pendants from bracelets I guess, and Japanese seating instruction decals. It was a one owner, Gray Lines Hawaii bus, and hauled the many Japanese tourists from Kona to Hilo on the big island most of its life. Did not look like it ever had a bag in the baggage bay, and they found you could cram more than 49 Japanese in there by squeezing the seats closer together. |

In addition to the usual popsicle sticks, wrapers, coins, and other trash shoved down into the heating ducts, we found the itenerary for it's last run--a charter trip to New York City for shopping and shows. Found several shopping receipts from stores visited during that trip. Another interesting find was the paneling used as spacing in between the stainless steel restroom unit and the body. Apparently MCI got a great deal on some panel board that would have looked great in a young boy's room. It had wallcovering on it that depicted sports teams and players in action; mostly Canadian teams, of course. Steve |
