I need to ship a very small electric pump (5lbs max) to a fellow in need in salt lake city. Fedex is asking $80. Anyone heading that way?

USPS overnight should be much less than $80, even for five pounds.

Yea well if I wouldn't have said it someone else would have beat me to it! I'm trying real hard to be like the a/c guy! :-)

By the way, all the USPS "priority" packages I have sent in a 6x6x6 box that weigh up to and some even over 5lbs usually never runs over $3.85 and if it does, it isn't much more!

Oh and let me add that fedex IS very high on their shipping prices but if you know someone that works for them in an excutive position you might get a discount! Did I mention that Susan is one of those people that, well, can get a discount?

Works for me!

Thanks ACE. I really did not see the heading.
Richard

Dan, it is in the heading and very easy to miss. I have done this before. Only thing I dislike about I@N's board. LOL

Ace,

$3.85 for Priority Mail is two rate changes back. Base rate is $4.60 now. Flat rate Priority boxes are $8.95.

Don, that's what it was before Susan became an executive for Fedex! What can I say? I quit shipping USPS when that happened! Still $8.95 is way better than 80 bucks!

Dan West, ah-ah--ahhh, (shaking finger) you really should read things very carefully before you start taking sides of those MAK moderators! This isn't their circle and they cannot delete what is said! Only BossNut can!

Oh, and by the way, how can you miss the heading? Do we usually make it a practice to post a response to a question without knowing what it's actually about? It's no wonder there are so many arguments!

Just making a point....so carry on!

Marvin, I'm as humble as they come! This is the best bus board there is with only one guard dog and a very fair one at that!! Don't know how much more humble I need to be. Heck I've been banned from the MAK board but only from posting. I read it everyday and all I see there is OT (off topic) stuff so what am I missing? NADA! Hey if you think about it, they did me a favor. I have more time now to work on my bus instead of posting and getting deleted. Hey, what a concept! Something others should try and do! It only takes a few seconds to skip over the jokes of the day and then back to work! Can't you guys see that the MAK board is not much more than a moderator contest to see who can post the most, which ultimately ends up being more BS, than BuS stuff? Check it out and see!
Ok MAK moderators, I'm sending people your way so treat them kindly!

Ok Marvin, is that humble enough? :-)

Geez...

I@N I forgot to say that the delete button only works if your a moderator on the MAK board in which case your not so this could be the reason why yours is not working correctly! :-)
