Getting ready to remove the windshields of our Eagle 01. Anyone know the weight? Can one person remove it? Thanks, Paul |

I don't know exactly the weight of the windshield--I'd guess 25 to 35 lbs. Yes, one person can remove it. 1- Remove the locking ring first. 2- With a utility knife cut the rubber seal between the window frame and windshield. Then lift it right out 3- DO NOT TRY AND REUSE THE OLD SEAL. Jefferson Bus in Oklahoma City is where I got new seals. Good people to deal with--they know Eagles. I found that the windshields are MUCH EASIER to handle with a couple of suckson cups with handles. Harbor Freight is where I got mine. Very in expense. Enjoying the journey in NC, Gene Lewis 05 Eagle |

I received the rubber seal yesterday from Norris at Jefferson. Good price I must say. You are right, they know Eagles! Harbor Freight here I come, was there yesterday, didn't think of suction cups when I was there. Thanks Gene, Paul (Message edited by dreamscape on August 09, 2007) |

Don't know about your glass. The rubbers for our Eagle 01 windshield cost about $130.00 delivered, this includes the lock strip. Paul |

They are a lot more from Silver Eagle, just could not get them. They were out of stock and waiting for a call from their supplier. Took three weeks to find that out. That's why I went to Norris, should have done that to begin with. Ordered them on Monday, they were delivered yesterday. If you set up a section of scaffolding at the front of the coach, it will go a lot easier. |

Great Idea John, I will have to consider doing that. Anything to keep from dropping one! Thanks, Paul |
