Last night I was contemplating the systems needed for a new conversion and while drawing out the plumbing an idea ran through my mind. Could grey water be used for a radiator mister system? If so it would seem to provide a way to reduce grey water and also not impact your potable supply. Any thoughts....question my sanity etc?

Gray water probably would have soap residue in it. Then you would be blowing bubbles as you travel down the road.
I personaly think there would be too much "stuff" in the water and plugging the nozzles.
Don't really know for sure, never tried it.
FWIW

A properly designed mister system will use so little water that you would never miss it.

Thanks for the responses I figured there was a reason I hadn't heard of anyone doing it :-)

The stuff that doesn't evaporate will stay on the radiator fins. If not cleaned off, could build up & reduce efficiency.

Would be easiest to use distilled water - No dried residue to mess with :-)
