Thanks Luvrbus, I would take it to Eugene if I can't find a skilled person closer. I heard there was a good man around Castle Rock, but I can't find a name. I will call Southern Oregon Diesel and see if they can direct me to a local company. Thanks again ! Rod

Rod, very well worth your time to go to Roseburg at So. Or. Diesel. Dennis did an excellent job on mine.>>>Dan

You might try Kent's Custom Diesel, 161 Industrial Way, Longview, WA (360-575-8884).

Kent actually knows 2-cycle DD's.

He has done quite a bit of work for me and several others.

His shop is geared more to log trucks or dump trucks so don't let the appearances decieve you.

He does good work and he stands behind what he does.

Thanks Dan and Mark, Iv'e heard good things about So. Or. Diesel, but that is a pretty long haul, Longview however is right up the street (40 miles) and those log truck and dump truck drivers are always looking for a few more horses, If Kent can keep them happy I think he would be a good one to talk to ! In fact I think I'm working in Longview a couple days next week ! Thanks Guy's

Rod,
Loads of experience with 2 strokes at Hillsboro Diesel on the east edge of Hillsboro. They did a great job rebuilding my 8V71.
Regards

I strongly agree on Hillsboro Diesel. Family operation, dad and 2 sons, close to 100 years experience on 2 strokes. They have built several 71's and 92's for me. Never a problem. Always a great job. Ask for Butch or Ozzie. You can't go wrong. 503-640-4669. Tell them Mark from Columbia Coach referred you.
