I went to their website and looked at what they had to sell. I am not sure exactly what it is they are trying to sell. Mor-Ryde developed a similar product many years ago that replaced the steel springs. It is a kind of poor man's air ride. For what it is, Mor-Ryde is a nice improvement over steel springs. Not as nice or as versatile as an air bag suspension but a lot less jounce and hammer than steel springs. The E-Z Ride product looks like a replacemant for an Air Lift auxillary air spring. I am thinking that if you need that much help to keep your vehicle from swaying and jumping around you have too small of a truck under your bus. I would also tend to think their product would tend to make the ride rather harsh while the vehicle is lightly loaded. I had an E-350 mini-bus that had Air Lift auxillary air springs. When fully loaded you had to have them fully inflated or the bus wallowed all over the road. Since the bus had no onboard air compressor we usually ran the bus with the bags inflated fully all the time. When the bus was empty the air springs really made the ride harsh. Unless you have a specific handling problem for which you were seeking a cure I would keep your $$$ in your pocket. Mark O. Castle Rock, WA |
