Does anyone have any idea what the average cost would be for an in-chassis rebuild of a DD6V92 in an older '70s MCI? Also, the same question for rebuilding an Allison automatic in the same bus. Thanks in advance for your replies. | ||

Hank An in-chassis ,new cly. kits, two rebuild cly. heads ,rebuilt turbo,blower, mains and rod bearings injectors and water pump and labor-est. 6000.00 to 6500.00 How about jac brakes? To rebuild a HT-740D your looking at A est. parts 600 to 1000.00 [ no-hard parts] and labor to remove and rebuild est. 2800.00 to 3200.00 Thank YOU TERRY R | ||

I had my 6V92TA rebuilt, in-frame, in January by Stewart and Stevenson in San Antonio, TX. It cost $9200. Don't know what it costs for tranny rebuild. Br'er Robert |
