Let me just get my notebook down off the shelf above the monitor. . .

PD4104-2730: Florida Greyhound Lines, Jacksonville, FL. Delivered new in July of 1957, with fleet number F1225.

PD4104-2979: Southeastern Greyhound Lines, Lexington, KY. Fleet number M1268 when new in December of 1957.

In May of 1970, my dad bought 2979 from Hausman on Archer Ave. in Chicago. He paid $13,500 for it and then in May of 1971 he bought 2730 for the same price and each came with SEVEN NEW tires. The payments on 2730 were $1114 a month for 24 months. I find it interesting that the prices of 4104's haven't really changed that much in 30 years. RV's are certainly going to be more expensive, but they have more added to them than a seated 04. The seated 04 today, if you can find one, should be somewhere between $3000 and $6000.
