so i just finished up a road trip from seattle to arizona and back, and found a whack of vintage and weird coaches at n34 44.9873 w118 9.9995

looks like it might be a movie prop storage lot, but i'm just guessing. anyone?

and the other was around n39 8.0730 w122 8.1507
i was northbound, big complex, looks like a concrete plant, about a dozen vintage coaches visible from the highway...

I think the one in Williams is Coach Maintenance where I visited this week. It is right off I-5.

Paul,

I stopped by there coming back from Quartzsite a couple of weeks ago. I couldn't find anyone around. Place was standing wide open, had a converted Eagle sitting with the engine doors open out front. Called around nobody answered.
He's sure got alot of stuff. My curbside front window cracked on the trip and am looking for a replacement. Any chance you got a number for them.

Thanks Tom

Tom,

530-473-5544. His name is Ted. I had called twice before I just drove over. He never did answer the phone or replied. I have been told he keeps wierd hours, something like 4pm to 1am. It was around 3 pm when I showed up. He does have lots of glass, not sure of the one you want though.

Good Luck,

Paul

5 1/2 mi. from Lancaster is on Calif 14. I was by there Friday afternoon, for the first time in about two years, and the site hasn't changed. About 30 busses just sitting, with no security, and an open gate in a chain link fence. Some 40 year old transits, and some newer stuff...
