this maybe ot but I had to share this.. I saw an 83 mci-9 being pulled by a pick-up truck and they pulled in a RECYCLE CENTER so they could pick up a few bucks for scrap. It was complete with 8v-71 auto and all the glass was good,as well as the outside I stopped and ask if I could buy some parts and they said due to liability they couldn't. I offered to be hidden and they still said NO BOO HOO |

Jeffrey, remember that Gomer is in flat Florida. We have pulled our 4104 with a V-6 explorer & it moved so easy I bet I could pull one on flat ground with a 4 cylinder. Hills would be different & of course the bus would need air for brakes. Heck, they have those strong men that pull semis with a rope. Lots of air in tires & flat ground!! |

Well I checked at the RECYCLE YARD and they wouldn't say anything about the coach not even the price. The pull was about 1/5 mile, flat ground, full size pick-up with several guys involved with the transport with flags and such. All I know that I offered to buy the coach several months just for scrapping and they laughed and said it was ready to be on the road,???? I wondered what road, now I know LOL. at the time they wanted 10,g's for it and I offered 2,g and they kinda laughed and said no. I really want to know what they got for it tho. HUMMMM gomer |
