I posted an early question an I'm going to try to go with the wiremold but does anyone know if it is OK to drill a small hole in the roof supports just for the wire for the roof air.

Not a problem at all. That's exactly what I did. Good Luck!

Thru the beams....

Prolly b'best to use some sort of insulating grommet (pvc tube,
rubber hose, or whatever), to keep the wire from chafing against
the bare metal hole, ehh? Road vibration can play hell!

I suggested the "WireMold", assuming the ceiling was intact,
but if the ceiling's off, thru the beams would be neater.

It's easier to add wires later with the WireMold, but big holes
and a pull-string left in, can help with the "thru the beam" approach!

Cheers!

There should already be some holes through the roof bows that were used for speaker wires. Jack
