Greetings esteemed bus nuts! I am starting a project using a Flxible 1980 rts. It has a DD 6v92ta. The fan when it kicks in seems slow. Does any one know the rpm spec. for this fan? I should mention that it quit activating on it's own until I disconected the air line to the shutterstat and plugged it. Just seems slow. Also, the vin# on the sticker over the driver seat does not match the title. Since it came from a city auction, there is no question of it's origin. Is there another place to look for this number? Many thanks to Fast Fred and many others with the help so far in this project. I should send you each a check for the money you have saved me! I will appreciate any help from the brotherhood, thanks, Bradd |

Hi Bradd, If your bus is an RTS then you can look behind the swing up engine door on the passenger side. There should be a Vin plate there. If you get the Vin and it's an RTS I have a book that will tell what the Vin means. Craig S. |

Hi Craig, Thanks but no go. I even looked for where a plate might have been. Any other ideas? Bradd |
