http://www.heartmagic.com/zzCrownPanorama.JPG For those of you who want lotsa parts, call these guys: Joe at Can-Am wreckers in Ontario, Ca. 909-983-9695 Three Crown's, lots of Gilligs, Blue Bird, Superiors, etc. WOW!! I just finished my haul... 6 virtually new Michelins, a whole spare engine for my Crown, a nice low ratio pumpkin, and tons of little goodies that were, until this great find, "unobtainium"!! A very nice guy, and he's just gotten in a LOT of round-nozed cruizers (and flat and Dog-nozed too)! Due to some political stuff, these HAVE to be shredded...too bad because they'd all make wonderful conversions. But Joe has the stuff... engines with turbos, 10 speeds, 12R22.5 Michelins that are almost new (6/10" tread depth!) etc. Check this photo out...it's sad to know that each and every one of these will be turned into Toyotas some day soon... Cheers.. A very greasy Gary... |

Hey Gary; Since your are rich and I am not, did you by any chance pick up an extra turbo and exhaust manifold for the pancake Cummins? I think the pancake turbo exhaust manifolds were all the same--does not matter if they were off a 743 or the later 855 Cummins. Anyway......I need a rebuildable turbo core sosss when I get $rich$ I can up-power my 250 into a 444. This is all Fast Fred's fault too. Henry. |

Hee hee who said I'm rich! What I am is an incredible scrounger. Not rich...(all that stuff went on my CC) Anyway, call the guy and ask him about turbo parts. He has at least a few busses that have em.That said, if your engine does not currently have a turbo, you're gonna have to change out the pistons too, otherwise the compression ratio will be too hi for the turbo. |
