When I open the thread "Homemade battery charger - Quartzite" it comes up with very wide margins, so that you have to scroll sideways. No other thread does that that I can see. Does the same thing in Firefox or IE.
Just curious what might be happening here.

Same thing happeed with me using IE. Only thing different that I noticed on that thread was the photos that Doyle posted. I have no idea if that is what is causing the difference. Jack

Len and Jack, I would guess that it is because the photos that are posted in the thread are larger than you have your screen resolution set. In my case, the resolution of my screen is larger so the photos do not stretch the margins. The photos are 640x480. If you have your screen resolution set at 800x600, the pictures plus the side bar area probably add up to more than the 800 pixel width. It will happen regardless of browser.

If you want to test the theory, change your screen resolution to 1024x768 and look at the thread again.

Dale

Hi Len,

Doyle placed his pictures side by side, so I've stacked them, instead. Your browser should be ok now.

I think I should have inserted a <br> (html code for break or carriage return between the code for the photos so it wouldn't try to resolve wider than the page width on your browser.

I'm gonna try to edit it and see if that's it...
