There are lots of us that have had problems trying to get out pictures sized to work on the net. This is a free program that takes all the work out of resizing pictures. After you have loaded the file on your computer, go to the file with your picture or pictures that you want to resize. Do a right click on the file name or the picture. A box will open that ask lots of questions. Left click on the one that says resize picture. The first box will have standard sizes; click on the advance tab, the second page will have a custom size that you can change to what ever you want. After you have picked what size you would like to have one more click and it is all done for you. If you want to do more than one picture at a time, go to the file hold down control on the key board, click on each file name that you want to resize. Then hold the mouse over the files and do a right click, the box will come up to resize your pictures. Pick the size you want click ok and it is done. Most of you don’t need my instructions, but I hope it will help the ones that do need it. Image Resizer This PowerToy enables you to resize one or many image files with a right-click. http://www.microsoft.com/windowsxp/downloads/powertoys/xppowertoys.mspx Jack |

Jack - I down loaded the program, right clicked on the photo and the dialogue box you described did open. But there's no indication 'Image Resizer' is operating... or is that dialogue box actually generated BY 'Image Resizer'? I mean, is it part of the 'Image Resizer' program? And, when you get to the 'custom' settings, what numbers do you plug in? My default says 'fits a 1200 x 1024 screen.' Sure, I can change the numbers, but to what? How does 'screen size' correspond to the 151 x 151 constraints that Ian requires? Any help appreciated. Nellie Wilson |

Ian - I do truly appreciate that. I've got Photoshop and, if I've got compatible raw material, I can get it right. But sometimes I just can't - not without badly distorting the image. Are you heading down to Arcadia? Love to meet you face-to-face. Thanks agaim, Nellie Wilson |

Hi Nellie, I'm not able to get down to FL this year but my wife and I went down 3 years ago and had a great time. Jack & Paula are the best hosts going! I hope you're able to make it down there. Great gang, lots of laughs, more food than you could possibly imagine, and more than a hundred buses to look at - many who's owners make you quite welcome inside to tour their beautiful conversions. We don't have to go all the way down to Arcadia to meet! I know you travel extensively. If you are ever around the Toronto area please let me know beforehand and maybe we can get together. A local couple here in Uxbridge (Pierre & Dominique - actually, she is a client of mine) host jam nights at a local upscale bistro and I'd love to see you join in. Pierre plays an acoustic electric Takamine and Dominique is a very good singer. I'm trying to get up the nerve to play a few tunes with them, but I only strum my git (a Seagull - made very close to you!) and I'm not a very good singer - mainly due to fear LOL!! But we could all have a laugh some time! Ian www.busnut.com |

Truth is - the last time Ian and Maisie came to Arcadia the paparazzi were so bad that Brad and Angelina had to adopt some orphans to get back on the front page of the Enquirer - There, now you know the whole story - |
