I searched the archives, but found nothing that helped. Mt 7.5 diesel powered ONAN quit yesterday. The engine starts and runs fine, but the voltage readings at the junction box on the generator and at the breaker box in the bus read only 14.5 to 18 volts. I can find no obvious curciut breakers. I have contacted ONAN on their help website, but received no response yet. The unit is Model# DKDFJ 27798 C. I contacted the official ONAN/Cummins dealer, and they say it will be two weeks before they can look at it. Any experience with this unit will be appreciated. I also contacted ONAN, both voice mail and on line for a maint. manual for this unit, but again no response yet. |

I have a 7.5 onan and had it to quite charging one time. There are two breakers on the box above the gen end. They are on the front of the box. These were triped on mine that was all that was wrong. Look for them they may be at a different location on yours. |
