And that was just the wind yesterday and last nite. I'm in Round Valley, Az. (Eagar) enjoying family at Christmas. We had a wind storm yesterday beginning about 2:00 pm and it lasted 'til this morning. I parked heading into the wind and set the levelers. It had to have had gusts well into the 60's as my Eagle rocked and shuttered like crazy. Could have been the suspension, but I suspect that my BigFoot levelers needed a larger base plate for stability. The rear ones are only a couple of feet wide due to limits on finding space on the frame for mounting. Level is not a problem, but anyone got tips for stabilizing this beast in high winds? Gonna have to wait for snow to melt before I head to Quartzsite... just hope it's before May! dg |

Doyle, most of the bigfoot levelers are mounted straight in a vertical position, my hwh's are on an angle and that is not a problem for me.Dig youself out of the snow and at Quartzsite you can see the way most are mounted on the Eagle at a angle good luck |
