What times? What result? Check your coach for what, exactly? What's a dyno? Nellie Wilson |

#1-->You need to "CLICK" on the "PDF PMD-277HP" box to see the graph that was plotted using M/S word #2-->Poor man's Dyno (Dynamometer) see--> http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Dynamometer #3-->Kind of a quicky Engine performance test from a stop - just put the pedal to the floor and measure the time it takes to get to 60 MPH in 10 MPH increments Mine was 0-10 MPH --> 3.78 seconds 0-20 MPH --> 7.94 seconds 0-30 MPH --> 13.33 seconds 0-40 MPH --> 19.77 seconds 0-50 MPH --> 28.55 seconds 0-60 MPH --> 41.75 seconds Pete RTS/Daytona Let the races begin !!! |

Pete You have a real hot rod there. 0 - 60 in 41.75 seconds. My car has a hard time matching that. How much does your bus weigh? Must be fairly light. This poor mans dyno is a great way to determine problems at a later date. Bill |

35' long - 102" wide - single rear axel RTS about 30,000 lbs fully loaded (it was tested with full tanks and fully loaded) Pete RTS/Daytona P.S. - Not very much BLACK SMOKE on acceleration because of my DDEC - (even with - smoke control set-off by the Transit Co.) |

Pete, Jack must know of some back roads around Arcadia where we could get some drag races going. I can see some new classes up in Gainesville at the Gator nationals. |

This takes, "Gentlemen Start Your Engines" to a whole new dimension. What will the annual prizes for best stock bus and just FASTEST be? Tank of diesel , or new rear axle shaft comes first to mind. FF |

"Pete, Jack must know of some back roads around Arcadia where we could get some drag races going. I can see some new classes up in Gainesville at the Gator nationals." As a matter of fact, there is this straight stretch of HogBay road out by my house that is about 6 miles long with very little traffic. HMMMM, maybe a new Bussin' event, LOL Jack |

For Pike's Peak, I want that 30' 4106 that it as Horizon coach. It already knows the route! Jack |
