I have found a couple Neoplans Jetlines and VanHools T809. I'm looking for a shorter bus a 30 to 35 footer. Any thoughts on these makes and styles of buses. |

I'm currently doing a '90 Jetliner; bought a month ago, about 80% stripped, just starter removing the floor on the seat decks to lower to aisle level. Well built, prone to rust (mine was recently completely re-skinned; new alum. bay doors and all); found some sheet metal rust in floor area of rear, nothing else. Lots of room, straight sides, replacement windows of same style will be pricey, lots of modern features, power to spare (8v92DDEC, 753ATEC) can't beat the ride w/the independant suspension, handles like a dream(love that retarder in the mountains) and stylish looks. Curious as to why u inquire of 40'ers when ure looking for 30-35? Jim Maxwell, Anderson, CA |

I have found a couple 35 footer Jetliners. I am waiting for more information about them. I have not found much information about the 35 foot version. I have not found much information about the Neoplans at all. |

Don't know what specific info you're looking for but here is some general: US made (Colorado); US built drive trains and axles (most of them), some parts from around the world. I believe it is a German and UK owned company; parts distribution in LA, Penn., and Orlando I believe, and the latest info I can give u is that a complete set of factory manuals is $300.00. Parts guy in LA (Northridge) tells me that they stock all parts for them and have about 90-95% of parts in stock at all times. Currently tearing mine apart on the inside, I'm into the sidewalls and floor right now, and I am impressed. They are very well built if they are all like mine. I have not found one "cut corner" yet. Van Hools are nice also, but they do have a lot of foreign major parts, like axles and brakes. |
