6 months, I would not worry, algae grows in water not diesel..if no water no problem....if you still want something i noticed some diesel algae treatment at Wal-mat in the automotive section...

Go to a boat supply and ask for Bio- Bor, the boat folks will have it on the shelf.

Any Big marina that sells fuel will usually have it, there are other brands.

You DO have water in the fuel , from condensation in your tank , if not from the fuel farm and tanker shipping and the truck stop tanks.

Unless your coach is kept in a bottle , air conditioned and with a constant barometric pressure to stop condensation , you have some water in the fuel.

Its a great idea to poison the bacteria before they do their damage , and you need to change filters every few miles.

Boat folks solve the constant problem by use of a day tank that fuel is constantly cleaned and kept full.(Boats have BIG tanks)

Many boats will have a fuel polishing system that is a pickup , pump , big filter set and return.

The fuel goes round & round & stays clean .

Oil floats on water , so IF you can just loosen the plug on the bottom of your tank till it just drips , catch the drops till only diesel comes out before storage , its a big help.

Completly Filling the fuel tank , in storage till its FULL , with a few cans works well too.

The more fuel , the less air to condense water.

For a bit of water (quart sized problem) the boat folks have an absorber that gets fed in the top of the tank , and then is pulled back out (string) when full of water.

Bacteria bodies & waste will clog your filter , water can blow the tips off your injectors.

I found three or four kinds of fuel treatment with an algae killer at the local farm supply store. Specifically Tractor Supply Center (TSC).
