my 4104 came with a wooden ramp 10x20 inches made from 2 2x10s bolted together and shaved down at one end. had a blowout on an outside rear, drove the inner tire on the ramp pulled off the flat. everyone should have one saves a lot of time and energy |

Bob - The transit agency I used to work for had a slick ramp for flats, built by the guys in the body shop out of angle iron and deck plate. It was about 6 feet long, and they made it in such a way that you could actually run the front end up on it, raising the front enough to get a jack under the axle. Had wheels on the "thick" end so it could be rolled from the service truck to the bus. But you're right, it's a great idea to have run-up blocks. RJ PD4106-2784 Fresno CA |
