I am looking for sliding windows for my 1979 Crown super coach. They don’t have to be from a Crown because I’ve been told they used off the shelf parts from other manufactures.
I have attached a link to pictures with measurements.http://www.flickr.com/photos/sweeney153/3221127010/in/set-72157612910348092/
I am looking for 3 to 6 windows depending on how much I can afford.
Patrick Young in Fresno may have some, but if I can find them in the NY NJ area I could save a lot of shipping costs

Thanks in advance

Kevin

If you wouldn't mind rectangular units, go to Elkhart, Indiana to the many RV surplus stores. They have many windows at very reasonable prices. Probably with the poor economy, the selection and prices could be even better. Someone here has probably been there recently. Another great place would be NIMCO in New Jersey. They dismantle hundreds of city buses every year. Probably could get the type windows that would work at a decent price.Been there, some operation.

If you do 'em as you can afford 'em, this place makes sliding,
insulated, and tinted windows with screens, for bus conversions.

I have some of their windows on my bus. They are truly beautiful and look solid as Gibraltar. I needed four "trapezoidal" windows (square at front two corners and an angle at the rear for the rear pair/ "mirror image" for the front). They made them perfectly to my measurements - I think there was less than 1/8" clearance at most places but actually the variation in the bus body was a bigger issue than the fit on the windows.

Pricey but *very* good. Also, excellent "customer service", IME

I have visited their shop, and I must say there work is first class. They also build lots of windows for the marine market.
