We did some minor body work on the bus, had the area primered and ready to paint. Well.... we had some latex paint made up in the same colour code as the exterior, and a very well meaning person used it to paint that area. It's about a 24" x 8" piece right by the front door.

What now? Any paint experts out there? If we leave it, will it peel after time? Should we remove it? Should I even bother to get stressed about it?

Bryan, I don't know about what you should do but I do know that you should not even bother to get stressed about it. Hope this helps. Joe

If the color is a good match, it's smooth and looks good to you, then I'd leave it alone. Probably a bit of a flat finish, but you're the final arbiter of whether id suits you. To heck with me, and FF, and Scott etc. ad nauseum. Cheers...JJ

Well, I've gotta admit, it actually LOOKS okay. I was wondering over time if it would adhere to the metal surface, or if it would start to peel. Not knowing the properties of various paints, maybe you're right JJ, we could just leave it and deal with it if problems occurr.
