This past week, starter prices around here:

Freightliner Dealership, with a trade, a rebuilt Delco 42MT for $199.

Fort Garry Industries, brand new, no trade, Leece Neville 42MT for $226.

You have more options if you have your own replacement parts stashed under the bed!

took mine to local starter repair place for rebuild, 150.00 did a good job

A good starter repair shop that works on the big stuff is a very good bet, especially if you didn't burn it up. Most of the components are common to that size starters.
