can i run 7A75 injectors in my 04's 6-71 i'm putting in a 4 valve head , with jake from a turbo-d 6-71

Maybe. If you have the older (but OK) lower compression pre "N" pistons and "S" timing, N75 injectors will work, but you would have to be VERY careful how you drive it.

Have to understand that the mill would probably be overfueled in most situations, thus keeping your foot out of the throttle until the mill has speeded up...

Would be VERY important to keep from blowing clouds of black smoke. Also full throttle at highway speed in most situations will probably blow a little black smoke.

You can learn to compensate for this with a new driving technique. Just keep your foot out of it and pretend there is an egg shell between your foot and the gas pedal.

Also, your fuel mileage will probably be lower than what you have now, but the power would be a little bit more. N75 injectors in your probable application are too big, but doable with care. Enjoy.

I put a 4 valve head, N cylinder kits, and 75 injectors in my original 4104 6-71. It did smoke black a little on the hills but was still doggy. No real noticeable performance improvement. Seemed like a waste of time & money. 6V92 at 350 hp fixed the problem.
