Had an RV guest that left a present , a portable battery or electric fan.

Seems to be from Wall mart or K mart and under $15.00

It runs on a 12V DC input or 8 D cell batts.

I figure if it will get the advertised 40 hours in low from D cells , it sure wont do much to even a tiny deep cycle battery,

O2COOL model 1071

Blows just fine , very quiet in either speed, about 12x12 with about a 9 inch (MOL) fan.

Were going to try to find a few more for the various boats and RV's in our stable.

, And no I don't own China , where it was made.

Hey Fred,
I bought the same fan on clearance from Menards. It does a nice job. I'm planning on hard wiring a cord end for 12v in the bedroom. Nice find!

I bought a fan made by Ryobi that takes the same battery as My drill. I have two bats and just stick one in the charger so it is always good to go. The ryobi charger has a transformer in it and does not protest on the crappy msw inverter. John

Fred, We bought 5 of those fans on Clearance at Wally world in Union City, TN two years ago. We have 3 of them left.
The internal batteries are cordless phone batteries and are just about worthless for long term use, however, if you put rechargeable D cells in, the AC adapter will recharge those once you remove the factory batteries.
If you don't have the wall wart for it, send me your address and I'll send you an extra that I've got.

I saw one in ours last fall. I went in to buy it the next day after the brain finally got into gear. Too late, GONE...Damn! I am hoping that they'll have more this spring/ summer.
