I'm about ready to cover the rear section of my 4905, I have sprayed thermal coat on the sheet metal. Any ideas on what other layers I should use to block Heat and deaden the engine noise.

John,

A couple of sites you might check out are:
www.soundown.com (note: only 1 "d")
www.soundcoat.com

I've collected the URLs for checking into later, but haven't used (or really checked out) the products myself.

Let us know what you decide on.

Good luck,
john

Had a former appliance repair man tell us that we should remove the insulation from junked self-cleaning ovens and use. Supposed to have really high R-value. The stuff is usually free if you remove insulation yourself. We are thinking of doing this to whole bus if we can find enough.
