The thermostat died in the a/c on my bus. It's a mid-70's Duo-Therm. I searched on the 'net for the part number and had no luck. The part # is 3-4825. Any of you HVAC experts know where I can get a replacement or a new one? I took a couple of pics of the thermostat. Links:

Thanks again for any help!

Hi Mark,

I can get you that part but, you would spend far less $$ if you went to your local Appliance parts house and ask for a universal air conditioning control/thormostat.
The tempature range of the stat will be between 55 deg's and 90 deg's. If you have a Johnstone Supply, that would be a good stop too.
If you bomb out, then just ask and I will ship..

$26 RV THERMOSTAT
http://www.pplmotorhomes.com/parts/rv-air-conditioners/rv-thermostat.htm

IF you want to go DIGITAL (needs 12volts)
http://www.klenger.net/RV_General/HVAC_Hunter_Tstat/hunter-digital-tstat-instructions.pdf

TIP
DON'T use a UNIVERSAL THERMOSTAT with a mercury switch - RV's rock to much -

Pete,

The type thormostats we are talking about are Not the "wall" type "mercury" Stats. These are gas filled and are much cheaper then $26 at an appliance store.

Nick,

If you can supply two of these controllers so I can have an extra for my rear air conditioner, that would be wonderful.

Let me know how I can pay you... Paypal, check, credit card, whatever.

Thank you!
