Yes, it's that magical time of year again when the Darwin Awards are bestowed, honoring the least evolved among us. Here is #4 After stopping for drinks at an illegal bar, a Zimbabwean bus driver found that the 20 mental patients he was supposed to be transporting from Harare to Bulawayo had escaped. Not wanting to admit his incompetence, the driver went to a nearby bus stop and offered everyone waiting there a free ride. He then delivered the passengers to the mental hospital, telling the staff that the patients were very excitable and prone to bizarre fantasies. The deception wasn't discovered for 3 days. *** Remember... They walk among us!!! *** | ||

this was runner up #4 that I posted... it is Bus oriented so I figured it would be OK to post here. back in the 60's I dove schoolies while I was going to college... when I as empty I picked up all the hitchhikers I saw. what a blast having a dozen or more flower children out for a cruize! | ||

who ever would of though you needed to ask were you going from a bus driver...Oh well as long as the food was good where ever those fantasy prone passengers ended up , what the hay ? I here you on that hitch-hiker thing Pete. All these times & they still can not believe a bus or a conversion is pulling over for them, always have to blast the horn to get them to come to the door, go figure ??? |
