Attempted several times to locate them...Chino, CA; All phone numbers I have are no good....anybody know what is going on with them? They were the "premier" supplier of Crown Coach parts. Sure gunna miss them if it's true. Wonder where the "inventory" went? Thanx, RCB |

...humm rcb, now you got me concerned about where their existing inventory might end up (other than installed on buses trying to survive) as well as there support infrastructure like manuals & parts data. With the right party investigating , perhaps a minor investment could divert them from (dog forbid) the dump or scrap yard, and into someones inventory or old barn. Just as I was starting to consider a healthy obsession with one of those pre 70's supercrowns. .. Murphy's law may be circumnavigated with timely sound effort, trust me, being more irish than the most irish Irishman that ever be; i now this by personal experience to be a fact of both good luck & bad luck. . Dang luck anywhooooo, personally I prefer self directed destiny ! sounding like a collective effort may be in the needs ? |

Clint....Crowns are, for the most part (vastly) "over the counter" parts. Honestly, the only exception I know of is the "Crown head screws"...and they were a great invention...just not commonly used,; ergo, no (few) tools available..( I purchased mine from West Coach about 8 years ago..and then they only had 5 of 8 or something like that. A Crown is built basically "off the shelf, albeit a custom combination, it seems for each unit built. I am quite sure there were hundreds of units that would "match"...but then there are those that are "one of a kind"...more or less . The particular part I am looking for is a Radiator fan...(see a much earlier thread..month or two ago)...and it just seemed "logical" that WC would know what I need; the International fan I purchased just does not seem to "cut the mustard"..runs very hot. Not to fear. I have yet NOT to find a part for anything I need. KTF...as I am your generation would (have said) say! RCB |

Thanks you kindly RJ Looooooooonnnnnnnnnggggggg ...not quite into my re-teens years yet, having launched my second childhood at 40, I am not yet at the re-teen stage, having just re-started puberty, having finally gotten my ten year old oil changed. Better late than never! Will reciprocate on the textspeack thing, when I finally decipher the full meaning of that last catch phrase acronym; I had asked the bearer , via the electronic way, a few communications back, but not even he seem to know. A flaw in his "eye am god" persona , in deed. .. RCB, Just imagine the value of old parts catalogues & cross over books that would be disposed of when they clean out the junk shelves of a supplier such as this "west coast" . No that is my kind of practical bible... written by the hand of many different parts companies, yet proofread by one editor. No insult intend, you obviously make good use out of your borrowed belief system; while I may not concur, I do comprehend the defining value to the collective of humanity in doing it "our own way". Hope you will put this into a context that serves you well my deer friend. I still have your original direct email, never even considered deleting it. .long "live" them crowns coaches & there human repairers knowledge to make this possible. |

Clint, ole' friend... if I had the slightest notion of what you were saying, I would, in kind, respond....but I have not... meantime, I'm still praying for you. "borrowed belief" ???...no comprendo, as you say. KTF... RCB |

chucky old friend , wouldn't your prayer stand a better chance of manifesting into reality if you prayed for a clearer understanding of my ramblings. Not that I am slightly upset at your constant use of me as a prop in your belief system, as I too chose to believe your heart is in a good place and will chose to overlook this habit your were told to impose on others . ~No injury or insult intended or implied , deer friend, just sharing my attempt to unravel real truths, as we all are. But we both know how to forgive-write. "kyftys" |

Jerry...many thanx for the phone #'s....I'll give them a try. I talked with him a time or two, but apparently did not keep the information. I have looked at bunches of pics of different Cummins on the web and am absolutely convinced I have the wrong type fan. The manual I have shows a "Crown Kontrol" fan which has variable pitch and is pretty complicated in its appearance...also much different blade configuration. Clint. ..U may just be on the right track about my understanding(s). But, prayer doesn't cost anything, doesn't hurt anyone and always is given, not taken....and sometimes, not all of the time, mind you...sometimes works wonders!! Keep the truth to my self??...well, my folks drug me up to " share" in all.........and anyway, U R the Truthunter, no? FWIW RCB |
