I told everyone that I would give you an update after I got my bus home. I had it towed to White House Tennessee (just above Nashville) to Joe's Coach Repair. 615-672-0448. He replaced the clutch assy,surfaced the flywheel replaced the dowels with bolts (they were gone),replaced the rear main seal, replaced a u-joint and replaced a break chamber and checked out the entire rear of the bus for 2215.00. He met us at the interstate so we could find his shop and then drove the bus to a gas station to make it easier for me. I drove it 150 miles home with no problems. He is a bus nut he owns an MCI and was a bus mechanic for Greyhound and drove a tour bus for John Conley for 7 years. I don't know how that is price wise but I am pleased. Now where can I go? | ||

Sounds like a reasonable bill to me and Joe sounds like the kind of guy I would want to work on my bus. | ||

Wayne, Busted Knuckle (BK) is holding a rally at his place September 25th, 26th, & 27th, 2009. It will be @ his place, half way between Union City TN Wal-Mart Super Center & Fulton, KY Super Center. This would be an easy drive for ya'll. The physical address is 4880 & 4884 Claude Tucker Rd. Union City, TN (but GPS's & Streets and trips will show you a wrong location!) |
