We use the swivel seats as the reclining GM seats are legal/safe in either direction......

Fred could you explain what bus these seats came from? Are they singles or double?
Thanks
Michael

They were installed in a coach delivered (as speced) by a small charter Co (I think ) in Upstate NY.

The pair is together & swing as a unit, when pulled about 3 inches into the isle to unlock them.

A gent in Mass was kind enough to give me 2 that swiveled & two that dont , along with a drivers seat , all very nicely upholstered in a blue that matches the stock floor covering.

There only in charter coaches , my coach orig came from Carry Coach (I'm 3rd owner) , which had verry narrow tiny seats so folks could drag their luggage in with them.

So I am still delighted to have found them as I have never found an RV seat 1/20 as usefull or comfortable.

There should still be some of the deluxe seats out there somewhere , try a WANTED in Ian,s fine board.

Folks MAY not even know they have them with out looking under and seeing all the mechanicals.

Thanks Fred for the information. I like the idea of having the passenger seat swivel and seating two. I will have a look around.

While your looking take a look at a Superior MH from the 60- 70's.

Their built by superior bus co and also had interesting custom seats.

The Pax doubble seat could be flatened to be half a bed , or flatened & the "bottom' , became a back , so the passenger could face the table.

Same principal as the early New Orleans trolly cars.

Although there are yacht dinette setups that will do the same (and have boodles of storage under the seat) the Superiors are interesting because your sitting / sleeping on spring cushoned upolstery , not a hunk of foam on a slab of plywood.

Good luck in your search , everything is out there , finding it takes a while tho.
