I was in the local Northern Supply yesterday and discovered they now carry LED tail/turn lights and marker lights. The round tail/turn lights are the ones mounted in a rubber grommet and are $29 each. The marker lights (red and yellow) are $15 each. They have two different styles of marker lights. Thought some of you guys might like to know this. It's still sort of hard to find these lights locally anywhere except maybe a truck stop. |

I was at Northern also. (Newport News, VA) Wonder why I didn't see you there? I bought two of the oval lights for the brake light I have in my freon check panel on the back of my RTS. The clearance lamps are just two LEDs each. Not very bright. I didn't buy them. What I did do is get the website of the Peterson Light Company. The maker of the lights Northern sells. They have a bigger selection on their website. In searching around, I found some others too. I'm sure there are others. Maybe someone will add them to the mix. http://www.pmlights.com/menu.htm http://www.buytruckstuff.com/ledlights.htm http://www.dialight.com Jeff "Take Another Road" <-- Jimmy Buffett Rustless not Busless in Buckroe 1988 TMC RTS-06 da Bubba |

Try MCI's website. They recently had a sale on LED marker lights. As far as I know they are direct replacements and although expensive, are likely no more than what $15.00 x the number of lights required would be. I expect that MCI's meet FMVSS and CMVSS lighting requirements. DaveD |
