I'm about to replace the bias ply tires on my 4104 with a set of radials. These tires are still in good shape with good tread still on them. Can they be sold or used as a trade in on new ones? I don't want to just discard them. Gerald |

If my old tires are stillusable and have enough tread I trade them in when I buy the new ones. Some people are still running the bias. You may not get a lot for them but it is better then paying to get rid of them. |

I added on to our backyard playground. stacked 6 tires with spacers in between, and verticle 4x4s holding them together. Kids climb all over 'em, inside and out. (My wife does daycare & we also have 4!) |

Mike M. - In most areas old tires become the number one breeding ground for mosquitoes when some water accumulates in the tire. Gerald's answer is the best - try and trade them in on new tires. |

I drilled 1" holes to let the water drain... I certainly wouldn't want a "West Nile" factory! |

If they are servicable the tire store can probably sell them as used tires for dump trucks. Thats where Niagra Tire and Battery said they would sell the tires they gave me trade in $ on. |
