I am going to plate the airbags on my mci. My question is due to rusting of the airframe, would it be possible to spray a rust inhibiting paint inside the air frame before blocking it of to prevent further rusting from the inside? |

All the rust to the airbeams on my MC7 was from the outside in. When I cut them open, they looked like brand new inside.(not even painted from the factory) The rust was from salt and road grime sitting on top of the beams. I am just planning to be meticulous about cleaning the undercarriage, and have used a good quality rust paint on the outside(por-15) |

Roger thanks , I haven't had a chance to see inside. I just thought they would rust from the inside also from moisture in the air lines. I am planning on spraying the whole underside with a preventive paint. |

Something like LPS-3 or Corrosion X will work fine, just fog and close. Even the cheaper ones you buy in WM will probably work fine. |
