My bus came equipped with a wheelchair lift, which I am about to remove. I thought about donating it to a special needs school in my area, but they all appear to be buying brand new buses with brand new lifts. It's way too large to fit a van, even a hi-top. Does anyone have any suggestions? If there are any busnuts out there who could use it, you are welcome to it. |

If nobody here wants it, maybe see about a Veterans Association? If they don't want it, they can probably find someone who does. If all else fails, there's always E-bay. |

This lift is from (actually still in) a 1991 Blue Bird TC2000 school bus. |

Good morning Mark, Thanks to Mr Ed Mardis, I saw your post about your wheelchair lift on this board. I am desperately searching for a lift to install in my 1972 Eagle 05, and I may be interested in your's if it's still available. The distance from the ground to the floor (56") is causing me a great deal of trouble! In fact a Braun L200ARS Series is the only lift that I've found, thus far, that will work for me. May I ask what type lift you're removing? Could you please give me the Manufacturer Name and Model Number (should be on a tag, attached to the lift frame)? Also, can you tell me the distance from the ground to the floor of your bus? I believe the Blue Bird is substantially lower than the Eagle, but it may still work for me. And finally, do you have any photos of the lift (unfolded & folded) that you could send? Thanks so much, James Hayes |

Hi Marc, I was wondering if you still have the lift, I pastor a church and deal with homeless people and need a lift for our bus. I would like to talk to you about yours. I will make it fit. Thanks. (830)276- 8615 -- Lloyd |
