From "Modern Intercity Coaches", by Larry Plachno:

"The Challenger designation was originally used on the MC-5 series designed for sale in the United States. It was subsequently carried over to the MC-7 series."

MC-5s (35') were built from 1964 to 1980.

MC-7s (40') were built from 1967 to 1973.

I have a 1962 Mci-3 courier challenger.It has a 6v-71.Mci-4 1963 had a 8v-71 35ft.These were only sold in canada (i think). tony Mci-3
