It's generally sold as "bending" plywood, and it's readily available at woodworkers' supply houses, sometimes at hobby suppliers. Be sure to get the grain correct for your application- it's made to bend from end to end or across the sheet.

Bender Board, available at real lumber yards, not Lowes and HD. Pricey, about $35-40 sheet for 3/8"

Heres an idea:

If you can get access to a steam cleaner, try using it to heat standard OSB or plywood. The glue will soften, and the wood will bend. I've never tries it, but it may work. I think they do it on boats. Can someone verify this, or will it cause more problems than it's worth?

I am nearly at the same point....the ceiling....fortunately for me one of my customers is in the wooden model boat biz, and I can get marine grade plywood in 4x8 sheets that comes in 1/16th or 3/32nds in. thick...talk about flexible...a person can roll a 12inch dia. tube out of the thinner material and the best part is that either type is under 20 bux a sheet.
Well thats NOT really the best part....the best is that this stuff is as clear and flaw free as the front of an acustic guitar ...like a fresh sheet of paper!
They also have Mohagony in the same thicknesses but I feel it would be too dark after sealing it.
I can source out the supplier (west coast) , and post it here if there is a request.

I took 1/4" exterior plywood and soaked it in my large hot tub for about 10 mins each end. Then proped it into the curved postion and allowed to dry overnight (had enought props for about 2 sheets per night). The next day the board kept its bend when dry and uppropped. I was then able to trim the board as needed and glue and screw it into place.

Hey gang...
the "OAE" prefix to my name in NO way implies any education whatsoever.
In actuality it is nothing more than a family joke, so please do not honor me with any lofty misconceptions.

Please excuse the 2nd identical post above, it is further proof that when you get older, something happens but I forget what just now.

I will secure the source for the "wonder wood" paneling on monday and ATTEMPT an appearance here with some resolution for those who have asked.

I bought Wacky Wood at my local building supply co 3/8th inch and did the ceiling of my 4106. You specify an 8' cylinder or a 4' cylinder -- I did 8' It went up very nicely. I couldn't get it to do double curves though. The back, inside the closet, will be covered with carpet. One 4x8 sheet on each side and the space in the middle where the vents and air conditioners go filled in giving two seams lined up on either side of the middle. Covered it all with wall paper lining because the grain is too wierd and didn't look good. The wacky wood is expanding and contracting wrinkling the wallpaper liner at the seams. I'll probably put up wood strips, "ribs", to deal with that. Now I know why headliner is such a big issue!
