I'm throwing in the towel on my '87 Flex Metro that I bought in 2002. No matter what I do, the roof leaks get worse, and we're trying to go full time. We can't live with that much water. I've decided to keep the mechanical systems to transfer to a different shell and part out the rest. I want to sell the engine/transmission as a unit. It's a 6v92TA DDEC with 731V Allison ATEC. This setup should work great in a 4106 or a Buffalo. Engine smokes a bit during warmup and leaks oil, but it starts great and runs strong. I'll take $3,000 for the engine and transmission. I'll include the wiring harness and both control modules. I believe the transmission is worth that, so you could consider the engine a bonus. The bus is still running. You can come to western North Carolina and drive it if you want. I don't want to do the removal alone, but I'm willing to assist, and I believe I can borrow a fork lift to aid the process.
