Hi Steve,

Great picture! RIP, indeed.

At BNO, I have had a picture up since shortly after 911 as an eternal memorial. Go to my home page, scroll down to the bottom and click on the flag flying at half staff with the inscription "In Memoriam. September 11, 2001" beside it.

Thanks for sharing.

We help deliver a 50'Amel back from the carribean every spring. Used to dock Hudson River side at the trade center basin to have a welcome home party. The skyline has changed and now we just head home up thru the East River. I will never forget that day how beautifull a day it was. How surreal it was the next couple of days with no air traffic except the military low and slow.
My wife Dori got sick on her way to work in Manhatten that day and came back home. She worked for Verizon 2 blocks away. she spent 18 hour days for the next year, restoring the lines on site. She and her crew had Rudi Juliani's outpost up and running in days. Her health has never been the same and she has been on steroids and portable machines for her breathing ever since. We had to put her clothes outside when she finished a shift. She is my hero. i asked Ian to size a picture for me for this post. I like this site and his take on things, even when i dont like his take on things! His is usually the better thought out perspective.

Hi Dave,

1

Happy to help! Great picture. Thank you. Yup, the empty skyline without the towers matches the empty feeling still in my heart for the victims.
