Does anybody out there KNOW the speedometer drive ratio on a Spicer
manual trans in a 4104? (Expressed as __ x output shaft speed.) I
could not find the info in my 4104 book.

Probably it isn't spec'd because the speedo drive ratio on most trannys is set up by what gear the tranny builder sticks in there, that gear is easily field-replacable by the end user, and there are as many choices as you can imagine. This is so vehicle manufacturers can match rear ends and speedos from A-Z without being stuck with one particular ratio.
The only way to tell is to actually count turns... or get an encoder and electronic speedo such as a VDO that sets itself up to whatever the ratio is, automatically, and not care what the ratio is...

Cheers
Gary
