I need to know what to use between the steel frame and the aluminum,I would like to use the same stuff that MCI used. I also need to know what to use between the new aluminum and the roof to seal it back to keep it from leaking. I also need to know what type and size of rivets for the roof edge and also between the windows. I will be using 6061t aluminum in 10' sheets to put over window area. Thanks

If you want to use what MCI used, which is the right way to do it, call MCI Parts and order the same stuff. If you have the parts books, it is in the Standard Hardware Manual. Everything from the black tarry tape to the rivets. But a phone call to MCI with a description should be enough to get the stuff to you. I applaud your decision to use the T-6 aluminum rather than steel. I believe they used butyl caulk on the roof seams. Best stuff going although some guys think the new urethane stuff is better. Just wait 'til they try to take it apart!!
