WOW. I DON'T THINK IT'S RIGHT FOR YOU TOP SEND US TO THE BC SITE FROM THIS SITE. WHEN MIKE OWNED BCM IT WAS A GREAT MAGAZINE AND WEB SITE, BUT THE NEW OWNERS HAVE TRASHED IT TO THE MAX. I HAVE ONE FRIEND WHO SENDS LETTERS TO THE IRS TO GET ALL OF BCM'S ADVERTISERS AUDITED, SO YOU CAN SEE THAT THOSE FOLKS ARE NO LONGER POPULAR WITH MANY BUS PEOPLE. | ||

Larry, you know that is about the most crap I have read. If you don't like the 'Other Board' don't read it. I think you may already know it is very popular and in fact seems just a tad better now! As to the friend that supposedly sends letter to IRS to get the advertizers audited, I can assure you they go in the trash...right after a reply thanking the jerk for the information! Both boards are VVEERRYY good and both serve a purpose. | ||

Austin/Larry, No sweat. It doesn't happen every day and I often send people to BCM myself. On many occasions I have praised the virtues of BCM both old and new... got into a little trouble when asked for an opinion on this board and gave one... but you know what? Here we all are. My Google ad payment was the highest its been in a year or two and we all still manage to exist. Thing is, to design a successful web site and manage it over the long haul is to first of all have the commitment and then have the necessary skills, not just a book on HTML and a computer full of fonts. There is a difference. If Mike (the new one) or I wanted to make any serious money doing web stuff, we'd both be in the internet porn business, but the fact that we are both avid bus conversion enthusiasts and for the most part like everyone on our respective sites, we both try to present a respectable view from the front left seat. Are we going to do a bunch of stuff the same? Hey, there are fewer than 5,000 hobbyists on the planet; there is going to be carryover. Are we two different people with two different styles? Hope so. It'd be pretty boring if we were identical. Are all your friends exactly the same? So let's relax and enjoy the hobby, ok?
