Joe
Good choice! That is what we settled on after looking at every thing that is out there for our LR DR and front entry for our home this last spring. Have some left over that is stored in the belly of the bus, and I think you have an Idea where it may end up being used.

American Walnut is softer than I realized. It is very similar to pine believe it or not just slightly harder. Brazilion Walnut is the hard walnut. Oak is in there between. If it nicks some oil hides it and the imperfections will just add to the look.

Debbie and I looked at dozens of different places not being able to agree on something. Thank God we agreed on this.

By next year at this time, the goood lord willing, we will be just about done with the majority and it will be 6 years.

Joe; in tha process of installing your floor. Is it all glued down or fastned or floating on foam? Curious as to your procedure.
