Last year we had a small bus rally here at the RV park my wife and I manage in East Central Texas.
We had about 15 or 20 show up and a fine time was had by most.
We held it in early spring, the temps were in the 50's for the most part, with a few drops into the 40's. Even though it was a bit nippy to have outdoor activities, we had lot's of food, I had lot's of beer, (Lot's and Lot's!), music, lies, half truths, partial truths and a few totally true story's.
Would anyone here be interested in a redo of the festivities next spring? It's a great way to cure the cabin fever and lackwanna blues of the past winter.
We have quite a few spaces, some are pull through, most aren't, but all have 20-30-50 amp hookups with water and sewer, (We put all new power pedestals in this last summer and fall).
We also have an old heated recreation hall that I mostly use for my work and storage room now, but we can clean it up and set up tables and chairs if it's too cold or wet outside.
Let's hear from those of you that would like to show up, wanna show up, will show up, or would in no possible way show up!

Dallas,

We'll be "screamin' straight through Texas like a mad dog cyclone" in February. I imagine we'll be in striking distance of you about the end of the second week. If'n y'all had your rally around then we'd stop by.

Otherwise I think we'll be on the west coast about when you'd be doing this.

Ho Boy!!!
My BIG CHANCE...!!!
With bells on (and maybe lace)
only one question.....
What kind of ammo
do you want the death certificate to say killed you...?

question 1a...

if I decide the ammo is worth wasting
do I have to drag TowelBoy with me
or can I just leave him chained to "The Hulk"
parked in the ditch?
(the ditch BTW is a way to keep that wreck he's playing with from being seen by passing traffic, I have a reputation to maintain after all!)

OH BOY, its to late now I will never get down there in time to help him. with the onset of lace wearing gun wielding threats to my gaseous friend Dallas the only option left is to put him down like a rabid dog. I guess the meat wont be any good either there goes the penguin-Que Heidi was looking forward to

Hey Dal -

Sounds like fun. Wanna see my Tejas buds and it'll be time to blow this popstand by then. Florida's okay but America is starting to sound pretty good.

What a coincidence...!!!
Weiner dog AND TowelBoy season
both open on the same day next year in AZ
about a day after you arrive Georgieboy...

Dallas
Pencil me into the spot next to Nellie...
being a music person
I'm SURE she will enjoy the sound of my
steam-powered Gennerator
running all night long....
While she listens to my Demo tapes
& tells me how to become a star in the music business.
I made the Demo's myself with my Saxophone mouthpiece,
it was so expensive
that I haven't been able to afford the rest of the instrument.
You can hardly tell anyway
my killer digital drum machine covers most of it up.
(I think the ONLY reason she's headed your direction
is to to hear me audition...!)

OK, now lets see if we can work out some tentative dates for this shindig!
I'd love to have it the second week of February, but it seems that's the coldest part of our winter, last year it was around +9°F for 3 days about that time. Sean, your welcome to stop in anytime you have a chance though!
Once we get this set up, maybe Paul will post it over on the MAK calendar also so others can stop in.

Dallas let me know the dates and which day you would like me to bring food. Then the big decision would be Red Beans and Rice or Gumbo and rice?

How about if I throw some dates out for discussion.

Any objections to March 31 - April 4, 2011 for the rally?

Yup, lets fill the park up!
