I am in the process off rebushing the Trunion of my Crown and I need to find some parts like the bushings, and the non reuseable U bolts.Does anyone on the left coast know of a school system still using Crowns that has a bus mechanic who might know where to find suspension parts? |

Doug...it is my experience that nearly all Crown parts are "off the shelf"....I have never had a problem finding parts, albeit not attempted locating specific suspension stuff. Most mechanics that I have talked with, who have "years of experience" and know the Crown Coaches, including Fire Coaches. had a "solution" to any situation... including recommending well known parts suppliers that can supply a given part. If you have a parts manual, cross referencing should be no problem....even at NAPA. I have also used Cummins,Freightliner, FleetPride, International, et al. Also, many west coast school bus companies have mechanics and suppliers who undoubtedly have the/an "answer". FWIW and best wishes. RCB |

Doug you might try A to Z bus in Sacramento, Ca, they also have a place in Los Angeles area. They buy School Buses from school districts and fix them and resale them. They also repair them, paint them etc. Dave |
