Out of respect to Jack and Paula Conrad, at their request the Rally will have a new Name, as the BUSSIN name will retire with them. Brenda and I have read many many suggestions for names, We have cut and Pasted some of them to get the New Official name, it will be..ARCADIA 2012 New Years Rally,Now after a year or two when all are used to hearing it it will be just ARCADIA 20?? and so on, A lot of you know my wife and I from all the Bussin Rallies, we hope to be able to make this Rally Grow. This could not have happened at a tougher time for all of us with the economy, and NOW the Fuel cost,But we are all going forward and hope you all can make it this coming year. Suggestions and comments will always be appreciated. A web page is being set up for the rally, all sponsors and or vendors will be posted as the are added, our email for the rally is sunscreenbus@softhome.net The web Page address will be posted when completed, Thanks for your Time an consideration,Bill | ||

Perfect! Better than "Bill and Brenda's bigtime barnyard benevolent bus bash and disfunctional family jubilee". I hope everybody takes some time to think about the rally and send some ideas to make it better and more enjoyable. Glad the rally will live on and will be in good hands. | ||

We wish Bill & Brenda all the best. We have known Bill & Brenda since our first rally. They are one of the very few that have attended every Bussin' rally and we cannot think of anyone more qualified to take over. We plan to be at Arcadia 2012 and encourage everyone else to join us. | ||

Way to go! I hope to make it soon, but....living at the opposite corner of the country and my wife saying we have to be home on Christmas, well, have not made one yet. This is one rally I do hope to get to, and kudos to Jack for all his work over the years. | ||

Hi Bill & Brenda, Congratulations on picking up where Jack & Paula so admirably left off and I hope to see both you and them again at some Arcadia 20xx (see I have the hang of it already!) in the future. At the risk of being flamed, stoned, despised, etc.,I have to at least ask- why Arcadia? I see that Bill lives in Lakeland; with the anticipated cost of fuel, it sure would be nice if the event could be a bit farther north. I'll be there anyhow, if the bus is finished this year as I expect, but every little bit helps. Don't hate me- I have a bus to feed. | ||

you are right I do live in Lakeland, but your question is a sensible one. even it wasnt ,it would be ok. Arcadia is one of the very few places in florida that have the needed amount of space, especially at that time of year. Arcadia has room for over 500 coaches, limited water and elec though, also being reasonable in cost. They have pole barns(2) heated and ac building and a main event building if ever needed,We hope to expand the rally and this year we will also have a heated ac building, with rest rooms.AND if your Bus is FINISHED it will one of the few there with that title, including ours.Thanks for the response and the thoughts, Bill | ||
