Does anyone the "simple version" of connecting a 12v Stone Bennett shifter in a 24v system?

Thanks to Clifford I have enough of a manual to get all the mechanical connections hooked up and some of the electrical.

I am making my own control with a toggle switch and a series of led indicator lights as I have seen others do.

I understand when the shift actuator moves up or down, it grounds the various led's to show what gear has been selected. I was going to run an 8 wire 20ga signal cable for the led lights.

I would like to control the shifter through the ignition so it works when the ignition is on.
But the ignition is 24v.

I also wanted to have the ignition operate only when the shifter is in neutral.

I can run 12v for the shifter solenoid right from the control. If so, what size of wire?(@50ft).
Or I can use relays in the engine compartment and take 12v from there. Then what size of wire for the 50ft.

Any help would be appreciated.
Thanks, Iver.

Go to my profile and call me. Give your phone number and I will call you. There is too much to explain here. Especially the neutral shutdown.

Hi Bill,
Thanks for the kind offer of help. I will try to get some time shortly and will certainly give you a call.
What would be very helpful to me, (sometimes slow to understand), is a rudimentary sketch of the wires and their connections.

I do have some instructions and drawings, but nothing showing the details I need especially when dealing with the 12v and 24v systems.
Thanks, Iver.
