I told him on the phone he got royally screwed, and I would bail him out. He did not say much.

My "big rig" for this trip is in the coveted exciting Chev Lumina pulling a Harbor Freight trailer. Trying to go in darkness so I don't get laughed at too much, or people get confused with a filming of the "Beverly Hillbillies"

A few years ago I sold my 93 Dodge Cummins with 300k miles on it. Engine ran as new, though, I had to replace everything else on the truck. Been sorry I sold it ever since. Still have the Gear Vendor splitter (overdrive) for it. I had the unit rebuilt and never reinstalled it.

Yes, I think I would like to sell it. It's been sitting in my garage now for 2+ years taking up space and I don't think I'll have any further use for it. The reason I had it rebuilt is that the guy that bought my truck said he wanted it. GV has this deal that a rebuild is only $600 + shipping (exchange unit) for original owners. Anyway he backed out after I got the rebuilt unit back from GV. GV apparently rebuilt this one with a heavy duty output shaft (weak link on some units). E-mail me and we can discuss further if you are interested.
