Come One... Come All, join us for our second annual spring fling here in Beautiful, warm, exciting Franklin, Tx.
Nothing special is planned, unless you want to plan it, mostly we just sit around and tell lies about buses, fuel mileage, power, tools, &c.
Last year we all had a great time, but this year let's see if we can get more people here and really raise the population of the town!

We need cooks, BBQ'ers, musicians, mechanics, wood workers, fabricators, welders, IT guys, painters, or any other trade.

If you don't have a bus, no problem, you can bring a camper, S&S or just sleep in your car!

Come and get some good ideas, and some not so good ideas!

Remember... the first liar hasn't ever got a chance!

We are located here: http://maps.google.com/maps?hl=en&q=31.012399%20-%2096.50699&um=1&ie=UTF-8&sa=N&tab=wl

Our campground website is Http://www.rvrelaystation.com

We hope to see you all!

There is a slight chance we may be moving to Jarrell, TX soon. We'll be neighbors!

This time I'm not going to take the scenic route to get to your place!

We had a great time last year, we are looking forward to telling a bunch of lies this year! Can't wait to taste Rod's Gumbo, gooood stuff!

Build a good size fire, take a foul fowl tie it on a stick and start roasting it, The stick will eventually burn and the foul fowl will drop in the fire and will be consumed and then you will have no more foul fowl. You difinatly couldn't eat it noway LOL

Moe-Larry AND Curly all in a row
hidden far far away they all Crow
I'd ask "Where's Les?
but he's suck in the snow...
that white frozen mess

Come April there'll be a bash
over in Texas where they're short on cash
in that direction I'll be bookin
& you can bet
there'll be no Penguin cookin

the only thing I foresee
is a Moe ,Larry & Curly
fricassee
all three
not me.

to read your post
I went for my glasses
only to find
you're one of those
pack animals

some DFA & talk of a fire
by 3 stooges & a known liar
won't coax this ol' Pengie
even close to a pyre

usually I give credit
to those that it's due
in the case of you, Dave
I can only say
skew you

Old Rod's post
wasn't in verse
but into the gumbo he'd help
the Penguin immerse

that Cajun humor
was is funny & hot
but over the fire
you'll see me not

not stuck with a skewer
nor tuning on a spindle
not de-greased with a sand berm
by Governor Jindal

the Penguin, in Texas
won't be a fryer
and compared to Dal
I ain't a good liar

this was posted late
look at the time & know it
I'm a bleary eyed bird
who thinks he's a
(one of those people who can write in prose)
and not blow it......

So, well then,
On a more serious note.....

Who wants to do what here at the ECTSG?

Are there any wood workers out there that can show me what I'm doing wrong... or right?

Anybody got stuff to trade, sell, or give away?
How about stuff you are looking for?

Does anyone want to learn the 3 chords I know on the guitar? I could toss in the 2 chords I almost know 60% of the time.

Who else is coming? How many spaces should I set aside for our happy time? We have a total of 32 with 50/30/20a hook ups along with water and sewer. There are a couple of other spots that have some electric, but no water or sewer, and we can stuff the people in tents here and there.

Dallas,
If I am off during that time, I'd love to come. Be happy to throw my steel guitar in the bay if you want to get a little jam going...
If you know 3 chords maybe I know 3 others. We could play anything!!
I'll let you know for sure when I check my schedule.

I'm not a very good non-pedal player, but I will show you what little I know.
I really hope I can make it!! I just have a feeling your get together is the same time as the Texas steel guitar convention I already committed to....
